Palm Sunday commemorates the Lord's triumphant entry into Jerusalem.

Events

As we make our journey through Easter, we have a number of feast days that pious Catholics have observed, and through which they have given thanks to God for His son, Jesus Christ, Our Lord. And in the proceeding months there are other notable feast days that one should make an effort to attend and worship. We shall be highlighting them and making comments as appropriate. We certainly invite your comments, personal testimonies, and advice.

In this first issue, we are writing to remind our readers of an event that took place 2000 years ago. On that day on a hill, Calvary, Jesus Christ, True God and True Man, was crucified so that the children of God may be worthy to share eternal life in the Heavenly Jerusalem. He gave Himself in obedience to His Father, out of the love that the Father has for His children. That Father, is Our Father. He wants you to save yourself by your obedience to His Commandments. St. Augustine, in one of his sermons, said, "God, who created you without your cooperation, will not save you without your co-operation." Wo'nt you obey your Father? As Christ did?
